Upon completion of the analysis, you will receive an officially recognized analysis certificate, issued according to your individual order and valid in most parts of the world, as Phytax is recognized by Swissmedic, holds GMP certification, operates according to ISO 9001:2000, and is authorized to conduct analyses for numerous countries through the Mutual Recognition Agreement (MRA).

Business Hours and Sample Acceptance
Phytax is open from Monday to Friday, from 09:00 – 12:00 and 13:30 – 17:00. We gladly accept your samples either by mail/courier or you can personally deliver them to our lab in Schlieren (ZH). We look forward to welcoming you and your samples.
Samples for express microbiology must arrive latest by Monday afternoon. For other express analyses, please contact us directly to arrange individual agreements.
Sample Preparation, Order Forms, and Shipping
The sample preparation, ensuring a homogeneous, representative sample, is the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise agreed. Samples for analysis can be sent whole, crushed, or ground. We are happy to advise you on sampling or sample preparation questions.
Please ensure all samples are securely packed and clearly labeled. Order forms are available for download on our website. Please include a completed order form with your sample. If you use your own form, please ensure it contains at least the following information:
- Contact name and details (phone/email)
- Sample description (name, batch number, etc.)
- Analyses to be conducted and, if applicable, the specifications and analysis methods
Processing Times / Turnaround Times
Depending on the complexity of the analyses to be conducted, processing times may vary. A complete analysis of herbs according to the European Pharmacopoeia typically takes 15 – 20 working days. Individual analyses often take less time.
Quality Agreement
We are happy to conclude a quality agreement (contract analysis) with our customers. If needed, we will gladly provide you with an appropriate template.
